My DH and I are friends with the man he works with and his wife. I love his wife to death. Well her DH told her he is going to Afghanistan for 3 months and he just got notice. He told her he didn't volunteer but DH knows he did. She asked me if he did, I stammered that I wasn't sure and didn't know how it all works. She could tell I was lying. I don't know what to do. I want to stay friends with them but her H put us all in an awkward place.

I flipped on my husband the other day. Long story short, I threw the majority of our home goods in my car. It wasn't until he realized that I was not stopping that he finally apologized for his actions. I told him I wanted to leave but I accepted his apology. I will leave him though. We are moving out of our apartment right now and will be spending a year apart. I will take this year to set myself up with a nice paying job and an apartment so that I can finally leave him. He is a lying, cheating, manipulative, douche bag and I have waited 6 years too long for him to change.

I think there are a lot of people at our church that abuse the free services that are offered to the poor. I know a lot of people that just want something for nothing and don't mind lying to the pastor to get it. It really makes me sad to think about it.

Found out the my H is cheating.I have been trying to plan my exit from this marriage but he has been violent in the past and we have 3 children.Today he tells me that he has to go to Europe for work at the end of May for 10 days. I know he is lying and has booked a 10 day cruise for him and his OW. I saw the paperwork for it. My daughter begs him to spend time with her but he will say "I'm busy working" but takes off work for some OW. Plus leaves me to take care of all 3 kids,one of which has severe Autism. No family close to me just completely alone. I have not been on a vacation in years!

When I was working on my undergraduate degree, I worked full-time at a series of low wage jobs while I went to school full-time. When I asked for certain times off (when I was supposed to be in class), my employers would ask me if I could ditch class that day and they seemed reluctant to work with my schedule. This happened to me several times. I started lying and instead of saying that I was supposed to be in class, I said I was supposed to be "at my other job." I didn't have any problems getting time off after that.

DH makes jokes at social gatherings that I sleep until noon. I don't know why he does this. I wake up at 6:30 every morning, when he does. He also jokes that I never make dinner. Another untruth. When I defend myself, he'll say, "Yeah right", so I sound like I'm lying. When I ask him why he does this, he'll say, I was just joking. WTF!

Dear ex's new girlfriend. Thank you for taking him off my hands. However, I hope you wake up and leave his manipulative, lying, using, lazy ass before he uses up all your money and leaves you for some other chick that has money (like how he left me for you, he told me right to my face it was b/c you have money). It's a shame you had a kid with him right away, now you're stuck dealing with his bullshit for the rest of your life. Just like me.

It's funny when people try to make themselves feel better by lying to themselves. It doesn't matter what your reason is, if you're doing the same thing as a whole bunch of other people, but call them pathetic for doing it...you're even more pathetic because you're also a hypocrite.
