Oh we have no money for raises but we money to SUsan G women foundation which sucks by the way and also we can hire the doctors daughter.no I'm not training a college kid who will leave at the end of the summer get your BFF to do it..go ahead write me up ill be leaving here soon anyway..ive saved enough money up to take the summer off so i don't care.

shareAnother summer, another parents VS. non parents over vacation schedules. Schedules are made in advance, then parents ask non parents to switch weeks with them, even if it means non parents have to wait till September. More and more non parents are saying no, myself included. Cant wait till the first week in July, and stop mooing at me to switch because its not happening.
I have the money to hire 4 strong young (people) to work for my landscaping company. The hourly is high for this area. Once I honestly describe what I expect from an employee, I can't find anyone that will do the work. I guess I'll be paying cash to illegals again this summer.
No, I'm not coming to your party. I cant think of anything I'd want to do less on a Sunday in the summer. 40 hours a week with you idiots is enough for me. Not to mention I'm sure my boss would have some little "job" for me to do during the party. Uh...no thanks.
Tax season is almost over - can't wait to be able to tell them I am quitting this summer! New life, new husband, new house!! Can't friggin wait!!! Been doing this for 11 years and it is just too much! My family means more to me than this!
Aghh! I have nothing to do. No exaggeration either- NOTHING! I was so swamped during the summer (we are seasonal) and now with the new system conversion I am left with nothing until we get busy again.. in April. WTF?! I am starting to get scared they will let me go
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the BS work teachers do. But all these local teachers whine "We want a snow day! The kids get out 2 holidays in February and we get NONE!". Um excuse me I only get 5 holidays a year. You get more than that, plus a little bit of a winter break AND AN ENTIRE SUMMER. You chose the job, welcome to being an adult. It sucks but we all have to do it!
We are starting to interview college students for summer internships. Last year I had a very attractive intern and it was distracting. This year I hope they give me a female or an ugly guy.
