Confessions for Showing 1 - 10 of 223
I'm training two new workers that my boss hired. One is the most masculine woman I have ever met, and the other is a loud vegetarian that gorges constantly on junk food, but only after she meticulously checks it for animal products. Neither is right for the job. Where are all the normal unemployed people?
My office has had a bug infestation for the last 6 weeks. It is disgusting. I kill more bugs than I type words per day. No one can eat in the break room without bugs getting in food. I use a mug with a lid at all times to avoid bugs in my drinks but I still see them land and crawl on my mouth piece.
The microwave at work died. Now I can't bring anything to eat and have to buy the overpriced food here. There's going to be a lot of pissed off people on Monday. I hope management gets us a new one.
We had pot luck at work today. I don't normally eat other peoples food. I did and I threw up.
I love stirring up crap @ work.My CW has an Obama pin on her bulletin board. My other CW asked if I watched it last nite.I said no.He is only lying to everyone..when i see food prices go down etc then we will talk and added nope never will i vote for him.
I am a waitress. I have feelings too. Maybe I had a bad day but I put a smile on my face and try to make your experience a good one. I know your are spending your hard earned money. If you just want to go out to make someone feel small just stay home and make your own damn food.
I start a new job tomorrow..things were supposed to be "comfortable" money wise while the switch happened (old job has me on extended sick leave while I try it) however my paycheque did not go in this week for the last 2 weeks and they don't know when my 2 weeks vacation that I had booked for this week and next will be paid out...at the new job I won't get paid until the 28th...I'm panicking...I will be bouncing payments left, right and center and don't know how I will pay for food and daycare for the next 4 weeks...really, really scared
I lived in a dorm in college and did not have the meal plan. My food would get stolen often. Finally i would wait for the kitchen to be full of the other girls i knew were taking it. I would unload my groceries...open the ice cream in front of them and spit in it. Same w the margarine, other items. Never hapoened again.
I've worked in places of employment that range from a handful of people to a huge hospital with hundreds of workers. Never once did we have a problem with food theft. DH on the other hand, poor guy. In almost all the places he's worked, lunches have been swiped from the break room. Bad economy isn't an excuse since this has been happening throughout the years and in several places. Even if times are tough that doesn't mean you're entitled to someone else's food. Hands off! That clearly isn't your name on the bag. If you get caught you could be fired. Was that extra sandwich worth it?
Every year around this time, parents bring in delicious goodies and leave them in the office for the teachers. Our librarian retired last year and was well-known for eating a ton of any food provided to us. He showed up yesterday to drop off a Christmas card and then proceeded to grab handfuls of the treats while casually chatting. WTF? You don't work here anymore, stop touching our food with your dirty hands!
