shareI interviewed for my dream job at my dream company on my birthday. i had an internal reference too. They called 14 hours ago to tell me i did not get the job. Every time i think about it, i start to cry. i can't even tell anyone because i don't wanna break down in tears in front of anyone.
I was invited to a co-worker/friend's birthday from this other co-worker. I really don't want to go, not because of the people who I really like, but just dealing with the parking, the crowds, etc. etc. I just wish I could pass and we could make it another time. Oh, well, guess I have to deal. Having friends is nice though..it's been a while. lol
Just received a 50$ gift card from my employer ...and they gave me a 25$ gift card for my birthday! I like it!! Too bad I just learned that everyone hates everyone last week. I think they are trying to buy our affections. ;)
Office policy allows for lunch to be taken on petty cash as an office event for our birthdays every year... for three years we haven't done it. Every time someones birthday comes around we say we're going to a then drop it and never go. Can we just quit talking about it already and just quietly admit despise each other so much that we don't even want to have lunch together?
I have a very busy weekend ahead of me. I'm working a three day convention, but I have to be there Thursday night to check in to the hotel and help set up for Fri, Sat, and Sun. I know it is your birthday. I also know you work nights and have three kids to take care of during the day. so, please make it easier on me to set aside some time in my schedule to see you.
It's my birthday. I treated myself to a frappa-lappa-mocha-choco-chino and a cherry cheese danish. Then I checked the interest rates and they're dropping. I just got approved for a mortgage but my rate isn't locked in yet. It's gonna be a good day. :)
My fav thing to do at my job is recognize peoples' birthdays. Getting them a special treat and a card makes them so happy, which makes me happy too. :)
I have a creepy co-worker who keeps telling me he is going to spank me on my birthday. I keep telling him that he had better not touch me. Talked to management but was told that he is an independent contractor (still can't figure out what that has to do with anything). Birthday is coming up in a few weeks, would pepper spray be out of line?
