I'm a single mom, for good reasons. Mother's Day is nice, and kiddo made me a very sweet card. But if I didn't do the dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, housework, and cat litter today, I was just gonna have to do it tomorrow. Just another day here.

i have been cleaning and doing laundry like crazy for the past 2 days. And on mothers day I had a nervous breakdown because my childs behavior was so off the chart. She is always a good little girl but that she made it a unquestionable hell just form her questions and demands alone, along with pouting. ugh. Its tiring to feel so overwhelmed, and being a single mom while in college. Finally, the day got a little better as it neared to bed time.Excited for a new day tomorrow and that I made it through that bad and emotional day.Im sure the fact that I am about to start my period contributed

I think I am really running low on friends...It's been rough these past few years and I have avoided and pushed people away. Not that working, going to school and being a single mom without a constant co-parent has helped. I am turning 30 in a few weeks and I don't think anyone cares. This stinks! :(

I'm a single mom with 5 kids and an iPhone. I use food stamps. My annual income *including* the food stamps is less that $30K. I've no credit card debt and a little in savings. When you support 6 people, including a mortgage and car payment, on that, you get to have an opinion of my phone.

my bf and i got engaged last week. i'm thrilled and excited and feel so fortunate to have found a good man. but, after 7 years of parenting alone, i'm finding it a little hard to let go of my identity as a single mother. i worked really hard to be a good mother and gave my daughter a great life with almost no help from her father and i'm proud of that. i felt a like a crusader out to prove that single moms are not always fucked up trash. somehow it feels strange and wrong to be leaving that behind and becoming part of a traditional family structure.

No family who can afford it should feel guilty about hiring a cleaning lady! That's how this single mom stays off welfare. Please, hire me to come clean for you!

I am a single mom of a lovely 3 years old girl. Family is really important to me, and just the tought that she will never have a sister/brother breaks my heart so much. I feel so guilty.

I co-slept with both of my kids. Mainly because I slept better when they were next to me. I was a single mom and I found comfort in it. They were about 18months old when the knee in the back, toes in my nose, heels in my neck, and elbows to my stomach came along and I sent them to their own beds. It was an easy transition and we are all fine. Just ask our therapist.
