I recently ended a 10 year friendship. I couldn't take her lies, pity parties, or lack of guilt. I just realized that it's been 3 months and I'm SO much happy and positive since she has been out of my life.

Watched the show My 600 lb pound life were a man openly followed this women in Wal Mart to make jokes about her. I was appalled, and it made me feel guilty at some of the comments I've mad quietly to DH. But I still have trouble feeling a bit sorry for, she thought and 350 lbs she wasn't fat....seriously? I want to have empathy for the obese,I do, but they make it hard.im going to try harder.

I always thought it was cruel that my parents locked their kids out of the house and told us to go play until I had kids. But then I thought, maybe it is just the way I grew up that I now think it is ok. That is, before I came here. Now I know I am not alone and I don't feel as guilty when I push my kids outside and threaten a loss of privileges if they open the door.

Here's what gets me about Pro-lifers..You can condem,picket, and bitch all you want. Why cant you use that same energy and resources to help take care of the children that are born. Go to the schools and volunteer. Start a group that can help parents that are having a hard time. I see so many children in each communtiy that need positive influences (not a preachy person, just positve) in their lives. I hate that "groups" can protest till they are blue in the face but do nothing to really impact and change lives for the better or not make others feel guilty.

DH and I take a kid free trip every two years, family trips the other year. This year we have 2weeka on a tropical island. So well deserved and I don't feel remotely guilty.

In four days, my best friend of 25 years is taking me on a girls-only trip to Disneyland for four days! She is paying for everything except my food and souvenirs...well, she doesn't know it yet, but I'm definitely planning on taking her out to dinner while we're there. I'm so excited! And I don't even feel guilty that my kids aren't going!

An 18 month old baby was attacked by his grandmother's boxers the other day near where I live. He had to have over 400 stitches, and was rescued by a neighbor, because his meth head parents were asleep. It absolutely pisses me off that grandma is more concerned about neighbors 'talkin' shit' about her dogs, and the parents are mad that CPS is 'harassing' them, then the fact that this baby has been attacked due to their lack of supervision. So I feel no guilt in saying I laughed my ass off watching grandmother get arrested for attacking her neighbor in front of police, and news cameras.

I've got a small inheritance headed my way. I'm getting a tummy tuck and some new boobs. I feel no guilt. Finally time I did something for myself!!!

In the US, people are not found "innocent" - they are found "not guilty." There is a huge, huge difference.

My friend's 7 year old son drags around this nasty, disgusting scrap of a blanket and sucks his thumb while holding it. Last time he was here he forgot it. I threw it away and lied when she asked me if I had seen it. She told me she was glad it hadn't been found because she was tired of it, but I still feel a little guilty.
