My Dh & started trying to concieve 3yrs ago. Tried naturally for 1.5 years & nothing. We tried Invitro twice, didn't get pregnant the 1st time & had a miscarriage at 7 weeks the 2nd time. We decided that maybe God had a reason for us not getting pregnant yet, since there is nothing wrong & stopped trying 5 months ago. Within 5 weeks I was pregnant & I'm now almost 4 months along. We waited till the 2nd tri to tell our families cause of how devastated everyone was before. Next week is my bday & we're going2 dinner at my SIL house. My DH said he'll bring the cake which'll say "baby on the way"!!

My little brother's school sucks. He is very very smart and bored silly I class. Bu they refuse to test him for advancement or gifted services because they think it's pointless before grade 4. It's not pointless! His teacher won't even give him extra work to do during downtime (he has a ton b/c he finished while she's still explaining the concept) and won't let him bring worksheets from home. He gets in trouble A LOT because he goofs off to pass the time. When he goofs off they call my mom and say he can't be at school anymore that day.

I'm a grown woman and my mother acts like a child. I had to go to the ER on Friday. She's pissed off because my SIL drove me instead of her.

Dear SIL, I'd rather spend my money on trips and experiences I can share with my kids and get to do things and leave the house once in a while and have a smaller house than do nothing because I'm house poor with a house that takes all my cash for the sake of having a big house. It's not important to me to have the over-priced house.

I am so very tired of my childless, 10yrs younger SIL telling me she knows better than I do what's best for my children. My kids are clean,healthy, smart,loved, and happy. I've managed, along with my husband, to keep our four kids, ages 9-6m, plus three pets, alive and well. I think we know what we are doing.

I should be sitting here enjoying the fact that I am home alone and the house is completely silent. Except for the fact that I passed out today and my body hurts like hell and I feel like I should go back to sleep.

Just found out my dad gave my bro and SIL another $1500 check to put into saving for my nephew (this is the 4th one since Christmas). And the number to date that he's given to my DS, ZERO. Yep that was an extra slap in the face! :( Not because one needs it more than the other, its a simple favoritism thing he did the same this to me growing up.

if there is a "gay" culture and a "straight" culture where does a bisexual woman like me fit? does it depend on the sex of my partner? that seems silly.

I'm embarrassed that my BIL and SIL think that welfare is a long term solution to their financial shortcomings. They also complain that welfare and wic do not provide enough for their son. I'm to the point I may blurt out "Well if us tax payers are not providing enough for you feel free to ask your wife to start applying for work." My brother works a minimum wage job and my SIL doesn't work at all. She also does not want to work.

OMG - my office mate can't ever put anything down without throwing it. Pens, pencils, paper, notepads, silverware. It's all thrown down with a loud clank. Never gently set down. If I had an ice pick, it would pretty much be in her skull right now.
