DH is out in the field for mothers day, but he is apparently planning an out of town day trip and paying 2 of his guy friends to watch our toddler. (trust me, the whole army is needed with our child lol) I'm just not so sure I want to go though.

The new copay for prescriptions off post with tricare prime is outrageous now! Thanks gov we really love the new insurance you so proudly bestowed upon us! Just paid $30 for medicated shampoo for my toddlers eczema - what used to be $3 . Petty to some but it's alot of money to us when we have a basket full of needed prescriptions monthly!

Baby, I know you are in a war. I know you are in danger. I know that you don't need the stress BUT your dog HAD TO GO. I'm sorry. I spent HUNDREDS of dollars and hours trying to train the dang thing and he will NOT stop nipping at the kids. I did what I could and the kids were so scared of him that they wouldn't stay in the same room. After he bit the toddler, it was non negotiable. I know you are sad, but maybe you could also think of the fact that the damn thing BIT your CHILD. I love you, but the kids = higher priority. Please get that in your head.

I almost died having my second child and was told if I were to become pregnant again I would die. We became pregnant and I don't believe in abortion so we prayed, a lot. My toddler is a miracle and my being around to raise all three of my children is as well.

We have three kids and DH says he doesn't want anymore. I want more but just not right now. My middle child is special needs and we're working on getting him behavioral therapy. Between that, homeschooling him and his brother, and a toddler, I don't think I want to add a newborn to the family just yet. But DH had r&r recently and now I'm two days late. I have such mixed feelings and I'm too nervous to take a test. I haven't told him yet...

It is sad that because I tend to my child's needs, give him attention, play with him as a stay at home mom and don't leave him in the house in front of a tv to come outside walk three houses down to socialize and smoke leave my child unattended I am the stuck up bitch of the neighborhood. I am not leaving my toddler in the house in front of a tv by himself to gossip. I have better things to do like raise my child

I LOATHE these obnoxious SAHMs who swear they're martyrs for not putting their children in CDCs because they don't want other people "raising" their kids. I fail to see how popping your toddler infront of a tv while you sit in front of the computer all day makes you mother of the year. So next time you decide on bashing other moms for our choices, just think. Some us wanted to be doctors, teachers, lawyers, politicians, etc before we had children. We did not give up on our dreams, we found ways to find balance! There ARE women who CAN raise happy families AND make a difference in society!!!

Sometimes, I just want to 'trade' places with my hubby for about a week. Especially checkbook balancing week. I know he works hard and I knew what I was signing up for when I married him, but I think I deserve a little credit for managing a house, 2 toddlers, finances and everything else that comes along on my own. I mostly think this when he talk about his long day on the range playing with 'toys'. Can I please have a day spent doing target practice please?!

Every woman around me that is around my age, all their kids are school age. I'm not talking K, I'm talking 3rd-7th grade. I'm almost 29 with a toddler. Every woman who has kids my toddlers age, they're a decade or so younger than me. I feel alone because the young ones want to party, and the ones my age want to hang out while their kids are in school but since mine isn't, I'm left out.
