Seriously you can have a photographer take pictures of your family without your husband in uniform. 6 photo shoots since last summer and he's either in ACUs or Class As in all of them. He looks so uncomfortable.

shareWhile discussing a potential PCS and it's potential timeline, my husband proceeded to point out that my PAID summer internship was inconvenient. He made it sound as if the world was going to end because I would be in one state while he would be moving from another to a different state. I'm sorry but I have done this 8 times in the past 5 years, on my own. I did it all! I packed, unpacked, apartment hunted, etc. all while he was overseas doing his job. So why is something that will benefit my career and my goals such an inconvenience? He will not hinder my career path!
Be thankful in what you are given as a military spouse. My divorce is almost done, I had filled out many apps for jobs, wasnt gettin response, on a whim sunday I filled out a app for the hospital, yesterday I got a call askin me to come in for a interview on wednesday. Im super nervous havent done a interview in years, but the position is a good one as a food assistant, which I help prepare and deliever food to staff, patients, and visitors. Its 1st shift full time with benefits. Next week is my divorce hearing. My life is slowly startin to look up, by summer I should my own place.
Im so excited for my bday. Im goin whiskey free til my bday then its on lol. A friend was banned from the club we want to go to over the summer. A guy was hittin on her at the bar, she told him to leave her alone and he refused she cocked back and socked him good bc she was drunk and she was pissed at the guy. The bouncer saw what she did and kicked her and husband out. She hasnt touched whiskey since that incident. A friend that used to work there she is goin to get her in on the condition of beer only, since she isnt volatile on beer.
Success I found the Bali bra I used to wear before VS on amazon in my current size. I thought it was discontined. For $20 which is something I can afford. No more wearin camis/ sports bra/ free boobin all the time. And I got a new meat thermometer too bc I forgot my other one got broken over the summer. The skillcraft ones aren't worth a damn. Bra and thermometer weirdest amazon purchase ever lol
DH is going to be active again starting next Monday... and I can't wait. He's had most of the summer off... and has done nothing except play with his balls, sit online in the dark with the shades drawn, and make a huge frigging mess. That's. It. And you know what? I am going to give myself a HUGE PAT ON THE BACK for not killing him during this time. I deserve it.
If you PCS to the South, make sure when you answer housing ad's that say "refrigerated air", ask if they mean Swamp/Evap Cooler or Central Air. A Swamp cooler is not refrigerated air, but so many landlords and realtors list it that way because they think military don't know the difference. A Swamp cooler cools in spring and fall. It's Useless in the summer. 103 outside but hey it's 110 inside! And an HVAC tech says it's all working right. Don't be fooled. Also a Swamp cooler is a big box on the roof, it's easy to spot.
Well, I'm a military girlfriend... My boyfriend is in the Navy Reserves, and he has been gone pretty much the whole summer... FUN. He was due back in 9 days, which I was SUPER excited about, then today he decided to ask me what I would do if he went over to Italy for 90 days. This is sooo hard on me.
