I knew this couple at our last duty station who were always broke a day or two after payday. After hanging around with them more I noticed they would usually buy themselves clothes on payday (expensive brands) and then have no money left for food for their kids (they had 3 under 5). One time they actually asked to borrow 10$ just to feed their kids dinner that night. Oh they also have 2 English bulldogs that they spent an entire tax return on each one to purchase... I wish people were smarter with their money

Wow, I just realized why we go through the money on the 1st within a day or so, but the money on the 15th lasts a while. We have 7 bills to pay with the 1st pay (including rent), totaling almost $1,300, while the 3 bills we pay with the pay on the 15th totals about $160.

DOD school here is raising money to go to Germany. The parents are e7-07. Yet are asking e1-e4 for donations. Greedy much????

Really you don't remember emailin me a POA last year for taxes. I better have it in my inbox by Tuesday afternoon, so when I go the lawyers office Wednesday, the paralegal can note it for me, bc I'm not goin though the courthouse again, that was a huge pain in the ass. I had to fight them on gettin it done, bc they tried to refuse to do bc it came from a JAG office and not a local law office. If you don't get it done then I'm goin to have pay out of pocket for the lawyer to make one for me, when you can do it for free. Bc I didn't work I won't see any of the money anyway.

I spend a lot of money on massages while he's gone because it's the closest thing to a hug I can get.

I really don't see how people throw away all this money on rent. We always buy houses then when we move we rent them out as investement properties. We have 3 and make 1500 a month and we are building our equity. You just have to be smart with what were given.

my husband is the one caught watching porn on a government computer. I am so tired of hearing that "it is just porn". Porn leads to other things like not being about to function during sex, like not being able to stay hard or finish because of all the porn. He has a problem and it is affection our whole life and he wont get help. As for us getting divorced, we just bought a house and really don't have to the money for him to move house, and even more so if he loses rank and pay.

if he asks why you took out money, tell him you're going to vegas for a week because you feel lucky. that will shut him up.

I hate giving our hard earned money to some bank. The higher we can make the downpayment on our house, the more we will save in interest in the long run.

Having a great conversation and then ask why I took out money. It was the same amount I always take out on payday to food, gas, etc. You get pissy and only respond to me once after that and then just sign off? Seriously? That's really messed up. Get over whatever attitude you have and then get your ass back on and tell me you love me.
