My life's soundtrack changes completely for every decade. Teens: 80's hair bands. 90's: Grunge. 00's: post-grunge (think RHCP) and dance music (think Fergie & BEP). 10's: alternative & adult alternative (MGMT, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Dave Matthews, Phoenix, .. on and on) Yeah I know no one cares. I'd still f*ck Eddie Vedder til he couldn't see straight. And Chris Cornell. At the same time. Yeah, baby.

No. I eat right. I exercise. I've lost 4 lbs in the past year. THE PAST YEAR. The only way I could ever lose weight in my teens & 20's was to take speed/metabolife. I'm trying to do this the right way but damn.

I wish the 2 "new" toenails would grow the f back in already. So annoying having the teensy half-toes in the interim.

I am 45 now. I was in the absolute best shape of my life in my 30s (even better than my teens). I ate well, exercised 1.5 hours every day, got a lot of rest and looked AMAZING. 10 years and a divorce later. . . I sure do miss my 30s. Sigh.

A lot of people ask me why i have such great skin and few wrinkles and look so much younger than I am. part of it is heredity, we all have great skin in my family. I never was a heavy smoker or drinker. I was never a sun worshipper. And because I have dry skin, I started using really good moisturizers and under-eye cream in my late teens, not because of wrinkles but because my skin was dry. Also, dry skin meant no acne so i have no acne scars. But luck and heredity only go so far,you have to take care of it!

I HATE the feather extensions. They're bad enough on teens/young adults, but I saw one of my mom's 60-yo friends with one. Sorry, hunny, that "young, hip" feather only serves to accentuate your age.

I'm been using sunscreen everyday since I was 8 and starting using eye cream and all that goodness at the end of my teens. I was a swimmer, but I didn't want the chlorine to eat my skin. Not to brag, but my skin looks photoshopped. It's lovely. Actually, I will brag. I have every right and I'm darn proud. My teammates look like leather bags.

I worked in a mom & pop grocery store for about 8 yrs in my teens/early 20's. I loved being a cashier, my regular customers, everything about it. I wish I could go back to that kind of carefree job again but the pay is too low. I can't afford to make 8-9$ a hour anymore now that I have bills to pay, etc.

I'm 33 and have lost a lot of weight. I'm toned and fit and look good. I was overweight through my teens and early twenties. I'm glad I was a REALLY late bloomer...had I looked this good then I wouldn't have appreciated it as much as I do now!
