I just want to lose these last 7 lbs from my pregnancy! Why is it so difficult? The scale won't budge no matter how much I feel like I am cutting down on calories.

My 17-years old sister is pro-life, and she is currently pregnant for the fourth time (2 miscarriages and one live birth). She smokes, parties, does crack and meth, openly gets her body pierced with unclean needles, and sells her body to many different men while refusing to use condoms or any other birth control during her pregnancy. And they say that women who get abortions are selfish? Please, they obviously haven't met my sister who gets upset at the thought of abortion but has no problem with destroying the health of her unborn fetuses.

I weight more than 300 pounds and I am dying to have a baby with my husband. He wants one too, but I am soooo afraid of something bad happening during my pregnancy. I start on clomid, a fertility med, in two weeks....I'm afraid of another miscarriage.

Someday...when I'm not pregnant anymore, I'm gonna have my rocking hot body back and my great sex life with my hot fiance. I don't know who said pregnancy was a beautiful thing, but I would have to disagree :/

I am overweight ~185lbs and 5'9.5. I have PCOS. We have been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years. I started taking 36mg/day iodoral (based on Dr. Flechas (sp?) research). Within a month I had my first natural period in a year. Yesterday I found out I am pregnant. I am amazed and grateful. We were going to try Clomid in August. I know pregnancy is not the time to lose weight, but being overweight, I would really like to not gain more than is necessary, and I would like to get in better shape while pregnant. I used to run a lot and just started getting into it again-is it ok to continue?

When I got pregnant I was 105lbs. Now I'm near the end and I'm up 35lbs. Part of me thinks I look a lot younger and healthier with some roundness in my cheeks and meat on my bones. Before my pregnancy I had the ideal 'skinny' body but my face was so thin and my shoulder blades sticking out, I think it made me look older and tired. On the other hand, the thought of keeping ALL the extra junk in my trunk and love handles doesn't really appeal either!

I think I'm going to go back on a diet program (similar to Medifast) that has worked for me before. I went off the diet during pregnancy, and didn't gain the weight back for a long time. Whether or not I can do it on my own, I don't - I haven't. I hate myself so much. No self-control, I make excuses and eat and eat and sit around. It's 3am and I'm restless and miserable and want to cry. I have at least 50 pounds to lose. Crap.

My boobs have changed so much with pregnancy. My nipples are like giant brown suns with pink and purple stretch mark rays radiating in all directions.

I was told I was infertile after TTC for four years. Once we stopped actively "trying" and traded our car in for a two seater convertible and finally got used to the idea of being childless, I got a positive pregnancy test. Seek a second opinion if the doctor says one of you is infertile, because doctors DO make mistakes sometimes.

Pregnant and put one some restrictions, including exercising and lifting anything heavy besides my DD. There goes all my muscle :( I was in good shape before this baby and was still trying to maintain my muscle throughout this pregnancy. Of course my baby's health is the most important thing here, but any suggestions that might be missing? I'm doing some light squats and pushups, might have to be enough.
