Actually considering walking the 5 mile round trip to Subway for lunch once or twice a week. Would be great exercise. I hate walking for no reason but Subway is one of my favourite foods.
I got the flu last weeked and wasn't able to get to the gym at all for a while (too sick). I went yesterday for the first time in a week and was shocked at how much endurance I had lost. Normally I run 5 miles on the treadmill/elliptical and yesterday I was barely able to do 2 miles.
Since my dd became seriously ill in nov i have lost 5lbs. I am 5'6 115 lbs. i eat nuts butter whole milk and chocolate through out the day to get calories back in. I am struggling here, i have no appetite. No foods appeal to me. I eat olive oil through out the day too. I swear i am trying here. My bu donk ka donk is just a bu donk now. I do not look well.
Ok. Just made my training plan for Marine Corps Marathon. Just ran a half marathon on Sunday, so now it's recovery and maintenance until May/June, when I'll start kicking up the mileage. I WILL stick to it, I WILL use it as stress release while DH is deployed, and I WILL run MCM in October with my best girlfriends. I WILL run my first full marathon this year.
Really wish the DH had hooked up the kinect to i could do some UFC traning workout today to get out some frusteration... Instead I went for a run (which I havent done since october). I LOVE to run, but cant run much distance. Today I RAN 8 miles nonstop I was so pissed and upset.
Frozen banana and strawberries+unsweetened soy milk + a small touch of Trader Joe's chocolate syrup is a great sub for ice cream/milk shake craving.
I hate havin a semi paleo lifestyle, and livin in a house with my mom who flips out when I drink red cap milk, or if I make a meal usin a lot of bacon, ground beef that isn't super lean. I hate when she buys steaks they are so lean they are nasty, I love a good marblized steak.
My therapist told me I needed to get daily exercise to help with my anxiety and insomnia. Coincidentally, a new gym is opening less than 3 miles from my house in two weeks. $10/month, no contract, and it's open 24-7. So excited!
someone on my friends list did a "diet challenge" with a friend. They were losing tons of weight. She bragged about it and someone asked how she was losing so much (avg 1lb/day). She told them she was eating 800 calories, doing a 90 min cardio exercise and then running 2 miles, every day. She told them they should try it. I was in shock that she didn't know what that's called or why she shouldn't be recommending it to people.
just ate 3 pieces of chocolate cake for breakfast.... guess who's going on a 4 mile hike in an hour?? This girl..
