Beauty is more than skin deep. It is the energy that exudes your essence and that comes in all shapes and sizes. Love what is within.

I have the comcast package with cable, internet and phone. The only calls I get on my land line are for a girl names Amy--- . It is always collections calls and they leave VC messages and it can get down right embarrassing when the machine picks it and we have guests in the house. And that's exactly when they call too. I think I need to disconnect the line. It won't be missed.

My MIL sent me a note instead of Christmas card one year that said Darling DIL, you must find God. So being my typical self I wrote back. Find him? What? I didn't know God was lost. Never heard back from her. From then on she let's hallmark write her cards for her.I could have made a scene about it but who has the time?! Certainly not me!

I don't comment on a lot of confessions even though I empathize with their situation because either I feel I have no opinion on the topic, don't want to mislead the person because I honestly lack knowledge on the topic or have nothing more to add then what was already said by other PPs. But I am reading them and listening to the things being said.

My definitions of failure as a parent is : Casey Anthony or Andrea Yates. People who abuse, abandon neglect and hurt their children emotionally or physically without regard to their feelings .As parents, we all do our best. When we know better, we do better. We make mistakes, we have regrets but it's never too late to change or better ourselves. There is no such thing as a perfect parent. In my opinion, a good parent is one who knows their flaws is honest about them and compensates by providing the best possible experience they can to their children. If we do that we cannot fail as parents.

I am a working mom but I do workforce manage my home and family. By that I mean, I plan their meals, set a routine for my DD with her school work, playtime and extracurricular activities. I have a set schedule when I clean and sit down to pay my bills etc. I have to do this because balance is hard work when you have a plate full and if it doesn't get done just like at work my house could fall apart. Deadlines exist at home too. Guess it's an extreme way to look at it but... it works for me.

I want to say my DH is not perfect but then niether am I. I love that he loves me with all my flaws. It is no easy task being my husband but he does it anyway. I believe its not the goodays or the bad days that matter the most in a marriage its the days in between and we have great in between days. Iam blessed in ways I cannot imagine and I wont take credit for it because I dont deserve it any more than the next person. I have never been a lucky person - never won at the slots or even a raffle ticket but I believe I won at the thing that matters most. I didnt see it - till now.

I had an A-HOE moment today at the local cheeseburger joint a nice family friendly place. This half nude chick about half my DH's age was staring him down like a cheetah on a deer right in front of me! My DH extremely uncomfortable with jailbait's wanton ways winks at me and is overly affectionate. I was ofcourse quite clueless about the whole thing(lucky for the hormonal hussy!)DH later tells me the reason for his wierd behaviour. We had our DD with us for Christ sake! Tell me ladies...is there a drought for men lately that these ladies have to chase down and grab those who are happily taken?
