I made the best gooey minty brownies ever last night. Andes creme de menthe thins make the world go round.

Just had my 5th laser tattoo removal session. They were busy. I got there on time and had to wait 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time was up. I'm usually in and out within 5-10 minutes. There has been a lot of progress. I think I probably need about 10 more sessions though. :/ Also ran into a friend at the gas station and she didn't comment on how gross I look without makeup. :) So maybe it's in my head.

I'm participating in a clinical trial. I had an appointment for a physical and blood work today and to get my new dose. I got an entirely new set of staff. The MA/coordinator was on the ball. The doctor? A total buffoon.

I am kind of offended that I received some anti-choice propaganda, addressed to my name, in the mail today. Included are: a picture of a fetus (fortunately not the stereotypical Planned Parenthood protest picture), a picture of a baby, "Vote like life depends on it...because it does", a claim that abortions will cause lifesaving medical treatments to be rationed, and a quote from Deuteronomy 30:19.

I feel like I'm the only person in the universe that loved being on Yaz. Everyone I know said it made them fat and crazy. Complete opposite for me!

I'm starting to doubt that this cat is my missing one. :( I wish I could know for sure.

I would not accept the apology from the woman who was making fun of the 7 year old with Huntington's (she went as far as posting pictures on facebook of the girl's dead mother with the grim reaper & the girl superimposed on a skull & crossbones AND THEN went on the news and said she did it to "rub the grandmother's ass raw") Total fucking trash. She and her husband both deserve the death threats and vandalization they've received.

So this cat is *not* mine. But he is such a sweet heart. If he can manage to stop picking on my dog, I think I'll keep him. He and my cat have stopped hissing at each other, though they now run around meowing at each other all the time. I still feel like a traitor to my missing (and probably dead :/) cat.

The company that fired me almost exactly 2 years ago (1 day off) is trying to recruit me. Never again. Not even for a billion dollars an hour. Even if they hadn't fired me, they are so corrupt and incompetent at what they do. I feel bad for their clients, who pay so much money for them to fuck around.

Woohoo. 15 of 19 gifts down, 4 to go. Hooray for Christmas and 5 birthdays. Two of the last gifts are going to be hard to get though, since I've been having a hard time figuring out what to get them- for the last 2 months! Too bad I'm going out of town this weekend, likely for the rest of the year. I wish I had more time!
