Unless I have trouble sleeping (rare these days), I am never short on sleep. Both kids are asleep by 7pm during the week and I also go to bed early on week nights. On the weekends DH always lets me sleep in, he is naturally an early riser. I average 9-10hrs/night, 9 is perfect for me.
I'm the OP whose DD is dating a drug addict. Right now my DD & his mom are taking him to rehab. It's only a 30 day rehab. I pray for him and hope everything turns out ok. I'm so doubtful though. =(
Dirty nasty floors are good for kids. It's so hard for us to accept this because we've been taught for so long that germs are bad and need to die. We now know this isn't true: we need something like 3 trillion pounds of bacteria for our bodies to work properly - about 3 lbs worth. We get them from the grossness all around. If we get too little ick, we get ear infections, auto-immune stuff, asthma, you name it. Some amount of gross is good for your health!!
Truu Bride is now Truu Sex, Truu Military Wives is now Truu Opinions :)
DS 6 graduated kindergarten today!! Even though it's only kindergarten, I'm so proud of my little man. He's come so far this year, both academically and socially. I can't believe my big boy is officially a first grader!!
I would definitely be concerned - and with good reason - if DH was drinking 15 drinks a week. That crosses over (but just) into what is considered heavy drinking for a man. NOT healthy.
Dear friend, you do not look good wearing pig tails and making a silly face in your profile pic. You look like a 3 year old, not an adult. Incredibly juvenile and it really speaks to me how childish you are.
I was JUST thinking how grateful I am that my blender hasn't died/broken down. This morning, I pulled the glass out of the fridge from yesterday, have never done that before. Placed it on blender, it ran. But then when I went to run it again, it died!! Did I kill it??
i'm at work. i am sleepy. i want to go home and curl up with my little yorkie.
I'm worried DH has a drinking problem. He drinks 4-5 beers about 2-3 times a week at home. Whenever I bring it up, he says he doesn't understand my concern, explaining he never gets drunk, act crazy or mean, he doesn't go out, he doesn't slam his beers (drinks the 4-5 beers throughout the evening *4 hours* between dinner and bedtime), and has never had issues with getting things done or going to work. He's right about all that, and I know he's not dependent on alcohol or anything, but why can't he just drink on special occasions?
