DH turns 30 this month. He wanted to have a family bowling night, which I planned. But his mom threw a fit because she always has a bday dinner for him and his sis (bdays in same week) and he didn't NEED two bday parties, and that not only would she not come to a bowling party but she would not have a dinner for him. He relented to keep her happy and decided just to do his mom's thing, no bowling (although I'm secretely planning on taking him bowling). His mom now is too booked up all this month to have his bday dinner (she's retired) so she's putting it with Easter dinner. She's such a bitch.
