I never use gift lists. Because of this, I may get you something that you will never use. But half of the time (or more, I hope!) I will end up finding something you never even thought of, something that you will think is awesome, something that will open your eyes to new things. Shopping exclusively from gift lists just makes everything even out. If I shop 'on list' for DD, DH, my Mom and Dad, and they shop 'on list' for me - why not cut out the middle man and have everyone buy themselves four presents? Nah - give me the surprise every time. And I'll send a surprise back!
