The company was sold last week. On Friday a memo was sent saying big changes were coming and sacrifices would be made for the greater good. Everyone was afraid of being let go. I’m a widowed mom of 3, my stomach has been in knots. Today the changes/sacrifices were announced. The new president/VP/board of directors unanimously voted to take a 40% pay cut and give up their company cars. They used the money to buy health insurance/benefits for EVERY employee and their families. I can’t stop crying. Now we have insurance and I don’t have to worry anymore. I’m at peace and relieved and so grateful.
