I don't like when my DH tries to help me clean because he always ends up throwing away something important or does a really horrible job ( like not sweeping before mopping! ) .. Can't stand it!!! more

My daughter will be 9 this month and she is my only girl. I need advice on when to talk to her about her 1st period. She has been developing for several months. I'm fine discussing the subject. I just don't want to introduce it too soon and have her worry. My mom never said a word to me when I started. I didn't know what was happening and I was the first of my friends to start. I don't want that for my daughter.

It's so gross to be served a glass of wine that has some old lip gloss residue on it. This seems to happen often at your house!Yuck!

I was thanked by my 4th grade DD's teacher for all I do for our school. I stayed at home when they were little and am lucky enough to have a DH who wants me to go back to achool instead of going back to work.
My own DD is well adjusted and doesn't really need me to volunteer as much as the kids who need the extra attention and direction. I am so glad she thanked me but it's the least I can do.
So my bf had a vasectomy almost 8 years ago. My period has always been the same since I first got it in highschool. Never once has it been late, and never once has it been anything but 3 very heavy days and 3 lighter days. Except of course when I was pg with my two children. Well this month I had spotting for 5 days, and when I say spotting I mean like a trace of pinkish brown when I wiped that was it...and Im so tired and emmotional and yesterday I got a wiff of sausauge and wanted to throw up. Now I know that its a long shot but could I be pg??
i hate HATE sock poop, but the main floor of my house is all hardwood and tile. My feet get so cold that I have to wear fluffy socks all time and every night before I go to bed, I have to pick all the sock poop out from between my toes :(
I find myself quite jealous of my 11 week old son. Why? Because of how much his mama loves him. I desperately wish my mother loved me half as much. Oh, well; at least that didn't affect my ability to love my aon with everything I have and then some. I was afraid I wouldn't know how to.
