Other working moms are "class parents" and they host parties and volunteer at the school. They have the girls over to eachothers houses on the weekends for playdates. I'm a total outsider, but as long as this doesn't affect my daughter's social life (she's only 5), I'm perfectly fine with that. I have too much going on to worry about what other moms think of me. I smile and I'm friendly, and that's all I can do. I only think about it when I read about other moms who are bothered by it.
