MIL I realize that you are having a hard time dealing w/the fact that your son has CANCER. However, when he calls you to tell you he is whipped out from the radiation treatment & that the 3 of us will not be over for dinner please refrain from piling on the guilt with "We just wanted to see you." If you & FIL want to see him that bad get your arses in the car & drive the 2 miles to our home to visit w/him. But I will not tell him has 'has' to go to your home when he does not feel well. Stop trying to make him to things on your terms, he is sick, he needs his rest!
