We're not military, but I do live in a military city & have family that serve. The whole pay thing really upsets me. We work for 1 reason & that is to earn income to take care of our family. Our budget is based on both of our incomes. So if either of us didn't receive pay for work we have done it would absolutely affect our finances. If we were a single income family it would be even worse.
