MY LIB lost his job a few weeks back. He has always wanted to join the Marines, his brother is in the Marines in San Diego, he's wanted to do it since HS, but chose a different path for a while. WE have a DD that is 10.5 months old. He really has no carrer future (no college or training etc) so we had a long talk this weekend, and he is talking to a recruiter this morning. I know its going to be hard, but I know it would make him so happy (not to be away from us, but to do it, and be able to have a future) so I support him 100%. He is at the recruiter right now and my stomach is in knots!!!!
