shareMy friend is getting married in April and is being a total Bridezilla! I'm married and I never acted like! Just because its "your day" doesn't give you the right to act so horrible to everyone. I feel sorry for your husband to be.
Fh and I have changed so many wedding plans since getting engaged a couple months ago. Today he tells me i have to get rid of one bridesmaid and he wants me to get rid of my MOH, i actually do to, but i dont have the guts to tell her. She knows to much about too much and could ruin the relationship if it came down to it. Umm this sucks!
My fhs parents have decided since we changed the date that they wont come to our wedding. They have a horse show or race or something on the day we switched it to. We switched it cause we couldnt afford what my parents had agreed to pay but then my mom lost her job leaving us to pay. Along with his parents his sister and grandparents have said they cant come either! Who does that to family, missing one horse show shouldnt matter.
"Babe, you just be very careful. I don't care about the truck but I want you to come home in one piece." Swoon! That's what the fiance said when he put me into his truck to brave the icey roads on the way to work. Makes waiting for him worth it.
My LIB's sister is getting married, and I am one of her bridesmaids. Her shower is coming up, but due to some crappy circumstances me and some other girls will not be able to attend. I feel absolutely horrible, & I feel as if I am betraying family (I mean, I am as close to being her SIL as you can get without being married to her brother). I am trying to think of something nice to do for her, all while being 2k+ miles away...
My problem is this: FH and I live 6 months of the year in Ontario, the other 6 in British Columbia. His family in ON, mine in BC. Neither family has the moeny for travel, plus a lot of health problems in the elderly relatives. Where do we have the wedding?
My DD has been asked by a family friend to be a flower girl in her wedding, fine sounds good. Got the dress, everything's ready to go. Yesterday I get a phone call, my DH and I are not invited, but DD's still the flower girl. Apparently it's "intimate, only a few guests". When asked how DD could be there with no one to watch her I was told that one of the bridesmaids will "be in charge of her". But we're not allowed to be there. WTF? I think I'm taking DD out of the wedding.
I guess I am old-fashioned like a previous poster. I think you should only give something as personal as anal to our husband. Nobody has gotten it from me and won't until FH and I are married in Maui next month.
