It's a general rule of Truu to keep confessions requesting advice out of the confessional, because then it turns into a message board instead. However, we've decided to start pulling one confession a week that may not have been published, but really does need your help.
Confession:
My mom and sister (who is my maid of honor) want to throw me a wedding shower. They are my best friends, and they know me better than anyone so I know that the shower will be amazing and that I will love it. The only problem is, every wedding etiquette book and website I read says it is horribly tacky and in poor etiquette to have your family host a shower. Help! I need your opinions!
