shannon_miller_400Shannon Miller may be the most decorated gymnast in American history, but her son's little bodily triumphs mean the world to her too.

Shannon confesses to Truu:

"One of my favorite shows was Monk. Mainly because I'm a touch obsessive compulsive. However, I admit that after having my son I am now thrilled when he has a great burp, jump for joy when he poops on a regular basis and hardly notice the dried spit up that covers my favorite sweat jacket. Such are the joys of motherhood and I'm loving it!"

Shannon has won 7 Olympic medals, and is a 9 time World Medalist. She advocates for health and wellness of all ages, and began the Shannon Miller Foundation, which works to fight childhood obesity.

You don't have to be lost in the diapers, drooling and car pool. You can be you, AND be a better mom for it. Alice Currah of SavorySweetLife and EverydayAlice tells you how she did it.

It's almost back to school time...are you ready?
Yes! I can't wait for summer to end and school to begin!
Not yet -- in denial that the lazy days of summer are over.
No way! I could spend 9 more months with my kids at home!
