Swine Flu vs. Pregnancy
3 random things I realized this morning: 1. I think I would rather have swine flu than be pregnant. I love my son, but I;m done, for now at least. 2. Most (if not all) of my furniture comes from CL and its worth about 5 times what I paid for it, and it looks great. Im a great high-end bargain hunter. 3. Reading books keeps me sane. I dont live near a good library so I splurge and buy them from B&N (my fave store) or Walmart because, again, they keep me sane, and in good spirits. When I am reading a good book, my whole day is better. just some randomness I wanted to share with someone:)

The Remedy
We don't get "cold and flu" meds, we get the individual components so that we only take the medicine we need (why take NyQuil when I don't need acetaminophen?) I always feel like my pharmacist must think I'm a recreational user when I buy big bottles of dextromethorphan or pseudoephedrine multipacks when they go on sale.

Sick? Have a Donut.
A MONTH AGO I became sick with this awful cold/flu that is going around. After getting better, we went on vacation for 6 days. Then my oldest became sick with the same nasty sickness I had. Right before I got sick I had started going to the gym, eating better, etc. It's been a month of sickness, overindulgence, etc. I'm OVER IT. But my child is still freaking sick. I can't take her to the childcare at the Y. It's not fair to other families. I planned to get up, have a healthy breakfast, get the kids dressed, and go to the gym. Since she sick I had a doughnuts instead. I suck.
